At the 16th annual '2025 Asia Fund Awards,' Shinhan Asset Management was selected as the Best Manager in the retirement pension sector.

Since launching the Shinhan Big Cycle Asset Allocation Fund (equity mixed type) at the end of 2023, it was newly included in the default option within just four months, gaining attention for its outstanding performance among balanced funds (BF).

It is also standing out in the area of the pre-designated management system (default option) implemented to improve retirement pension returns. According to the fund rating agency KG Zeroin, the 'Shinhan Big Cycle Asset Allocation Fund' recorded a one-year return of 24.92% as of the end of last year. Among the 28 balanced funds (BF) included in the default option, it exceeded the average performance by 10.06 percentage points (P). It attracted the largest amount of 17.5 billion KRW among funds newly included in the default option last year, becoming a preferred choice for pension investors.

The 'Shinhan Big Cycle Asset Allocation Fund' features the lowest management fee (0.08%) and total expense ratio (0.22%) among balanced fund (BF) products, which is a key factor for long-term investment.

The 'Shinhan Big Cycle Asset Allocation Fund' is recognized as an asset allocation product suitable for pension asset investment, characterized by a balanced management strategy between U.S. stocks and domestic bonds. It invests 60% in U.S. stocks, which will lead the global economy in the future, pursuing long-term capital gains. For stable interest income, it invests 40% in domestic bonds. The core management strategy involves adjusting the weight between assets and rebalancing regularly by considering the financial market environment. The combination of excellent management strategy, low fees, and outstanding performance has led to its inclusion in the default option, providing support to pension investors.
