Starting with the bus route reorganization project in January 2024, Gyeongsan City collected basic data through big data analysis related to transportation cards and citizen satisfaction surveys. In May, a kickoff meeting was held to set the direction for route reorganization, and through a mid-term report meeting in January 2025 and a residents' briefing session in February, the city actively gathered citizens' opinions.

Gyeongsan City plans to implement the new route reorganization on February 24, in line with Daegu City's bus route reorganization schedule. Active promotion will be conducted simultaneously to minimize inconvenience to citizens caused by the reorganized routes.

Mayor Cho Hyun-il stated, “We have promoted a rational and efficient route reorganization to enhance citizens' convenience in using public transportation in response to the changing transportation environment,” adding, “We will continue to communicate with citizens and strive to strengthen public transportation services.”
