The demolition cost support targets 173 buildings, including 139 houses and 34 non-residential buildings such as warehouses and livestock barns. The city will support the dismantling, removal, transportation, and disposal costs of slate used as roofing or wall materials until the budget is exhausted.

Until last year, only warehouses and livestock barns among non-residential buildings were eligible, but this year, facilities for the elderly and children under the Building Act are also supported. For houses, up to 7 million KRW per building is supported, and for non-residential buildings, full support is provided for slate demolition areas up to 200㎡ per building. Any excess amount must be borne by the applicant.

If selected, a commissioned contractor affiliated with the city will directly demolish the slate. Those wishing to participate can check the announcement on the Hwaseong City Hall website's public notice board and submit the application form along with the required documents in person to the Environmental Policy Division of Hwaseong City or the administrative welfare center of the building's location (eup, myeon, or dong).
