Ulju-gun to Host the 34th Ulju Residents' Day Celebration on April 19

Onyang Sports Park Chosen as Venue
Among Three Candidate Locations

The 'Ulsan Ulju-gun Residents' Day' celebration, the largest festival for 230,000 Ulju-gun residents, will be held on April 19.

On the 17th, Ulju-gun held a meeting of the 34th Ulju-gun Residents' Day Celebration Committee at the county office's Ihwa Hall to review plans including the date, location, and event details.

As a result of the meeting, the date and location of the event were decided to be Saturday, April 19, at Onyang Sports Park.

At the meeting, three candidate venues were proposed: Ganjeolgot Sports Park, Onyang Sports Park, and Duseo Hwarang Sports Park.

After in-depth discussions, the committee members decided to hold the event at Onyang Sports Park for the third consecutive year. Onyang Sports Park received high marks for its accessibility and ample parking space, allowing many residents to participate conveniently.

The main events will include an opening ceremony and the Ulju-gun Residents Award ceremony, various township competitions, impromptu participation games as part of the sports festival, and performances by invited singers. Additionally, various promotional booths and a kids' zone will be set up to provide diverse experiences enjoyable for all ages.

County Governor Lee Soon-geol stated, "This year's Ulju-gun Residents' Day celebration has been prepared to be rich and colorful, focusing on resident participation," and added, "We will create a place of harmony and festival where all 230,000 Ulju-gun residents become one."
