80th Anniversary of the National Science Museum
Experience the Taste and Charm of Science Through Special Programs in 2025
On the 18th, the National Science Museum announced the annual schedule of various programs for 2025, including special exhibitions, experiential events, and science lectures, to further strengthen its role as a science and technology culture platform and to allow more citizens to easily and enjoyably experience science and technology.
In 2025, the National Science Museum will hold various special exhibitions and science events such as the music experience exhibition "Crossing the Line in Science (Music Edition)" for everyone beyond the boundaries of knowledge, talent, and disability through science and technology, and the advanced science and technology experiential event "TechCon2025," featuring robotics, artificial intelligence, and mobility.
Programs appealing to younger generations, such as the unique science experience events "Meongnyangi Academic Festival" and "Wooju Like Space?" will be held, and the "Starry Science Lectures," which look at various everyday topics from a scientific perspective and present them in an easy and fun way, will be held throughout the year.
For all generations, various weekly and monthly science experience events and educational programs such as the "Amazing Nature Popup Show," "Naked History of Science Popup Exhibition," "Adult Nature Exploration," "Nature in the Science Museum," "Science Classroom," and "Tam and Dream's Secret Laboratory" will be operated.
Kwon Seok-min, Director of the National Science Museum, stated, "On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the museum's opening, we hope that through the major programs held in 2025, the public will enjoy the taste and charm of science, feel closer to science, and nurture dreams and hopes."
