City Plans to Promote the Brand Through Various Campaigns and Events

On the 18th at 3 PM, the Ulsan City Waterworks Headquarters will hold the 'Ulsan Tap Water Brand Goraesu Proclamation Ceremony' at the first-floor entrance of the Waterworks Headquarters.

The ceremony will be attended by about 60 people, including Kim Doo-gyeom, Mayor of Ulsan, and Kim Jong-seop, Acting Chairman of the Ulsan City Council, featuring a progress report, brand proclamation, and a signboard unveiling ceremony.

The new name for Ulsan tap water, 'Goraesu,' symbolizes the whale, which reminds people of Ulsan and water, expressing the hope that Goraesu will protect the health of families. It was selected through a contest held last August.

Through this brand proclamation, the city plans to promote the new name Goraesu to Ulsan citizens via online and offline campaigns and promotional videos in multi-use facilities.

Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom stated, "With the new name Goraesu for Ulsan tap water, we will supply clean water that Ulsan citizens can drink with confidence, and we will strive for quality management and facility improvements to become a trusted brand among citizens."
