HiteJinro Launches Italian Toscana 'Tenuta Sette Ponti' Wine

Tenuta Sette Ponti is a winery located between Firenze (Florence) and Arezzo, the heart of the Tuscany region. The Moretti Cuseri family, who currently operate the winery, purchased the vineyard in 1950 and released the first vintage as an official winery in 1998.

'Tenuta Sette Ponti Sette' is the flagship wine of Tenuta Sette Ponti, made exclusively from the finest Merlot grapes grown in seven different vineyards. 'Sette' means the number '7' in Italian, and to produce the highest quality wine, the ratio of grapes from each of the seven vineyards is adjusted annually.

'Tenuta Sette Ponti Vigna dell’Impero' is a wine that embodies the history of Tenuta Sette Ponti, made from grapes harvested from trees planted in the first vineyard in 1935. Produced in limited quantities only in the best vintages, it means 'Wine of the Emperor' and is made using 100% Sangiovese grapes.

'Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno' is the second wine produced by Tenuta Sette Ponti, crafted in the Tuscan style as a Bordeaux Blend (a blend of representative grape varieties from the Bordeaux region of France). Oreno is named after the stream in the area where the vineyard is located. It uses 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Petit Verdot.

'Tenuta Sette Ponti Crognolo' is the first wine produced by Tenuta Sette Ponti, symbolizing tradition and innovation based on 30 to 35-year-old Sangiovese vines. Crognolo is named after the wild plant Cornus that fills the area around the vineyard. It uses 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot grapes.
