Comedian Lim Woo-il Donates 10 Million Won to Children Facing Food Insecurity

Planned to Support Domestic Children and Youth Facing Food Insecurity and Those in Orphanages

The international development cooperation NGO, G Foundation, announced on the 17th that Lim Woo-il donated 10 million won to support children suffering from food insecurity in South Korea. Lim Woo-il's donation will be used to help domestic children facing food insecurity due to the absence of caregiver support, as well as children and youth in orphanages, to have at least one healthy meal.

Additionally, there are plans to provide special meal funds so that children living in childcare facilities can freely enjoy the foods they desire.


A representative from G Foundation expressed gratitude, saying, "We are thankful for the precious heart shared for children at risk of food insecurity due to the absence of caregiver support," and added, "This will bring great comfort and strength to the children facing food insecurity and their families."


Lim Woo-il runs the YouTube channel '180 Seconds' with 680,000 subscribers and presents sketch comedy content through various channels such as 'WAG TV' and '6 Beon Chulgu (Exit 6)'. He recently won the Popularity Award at the 2024 MBC Entertainment Awards.
