Website to Launch in the First Week of March
The organizing committee has been launched ahead of 'Quantum Korea 2025,' which will be held from June 24 to 26 at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul.
On the 18th, the Ministry of Science and ICT announced at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center (BPEX) that the 'Quantum Korea 2025' organizing committee launch ceremony was held and preparations for the event have officially begun.

Quantum Korea expanded and reorganized the 'Quantum Week' event, which had been held for years focusing on researcher exchanges and academic achievements, into an international event from 2023, involving overseas scholars, representatives from various domestic and international sectors, and leading companies to comprehensively review the quantum ecosystem. This will be the third event.
At the 'Quantum Korea 2025' organizing committee launch ceremony, Professor Kim Tae-hyun of Seoul National University, who served as a committee member last year and is the head of the Quantum Research Center at Seoul National University, was appointed as the chairman. Representatives from related associations, research institutes, and executives from quantum-related companies were also appointed as committee members.
With the launch of the organizing committee, the Quantum Korea 2025 website will be launched in the first week of March, and applications for participation in research and industry exhibitions will be accepted through the website starting from the second week of March.
Gwon Hyun-jun, Director of Basic and Fundamental Research Policy at the Ministry of Science and ICT, said, "With 2025 being the year of global quantum science and technology, interest in quantum is hotter than ever worldwide. We will continuously communicate with related institutions and organizations to establish Quantum Korea as a definitive global festival for quantum science and technology research and industry."
