‘Cheonho Eoullim Swimming Pool’ to Open on the 10th of Next Month

First Public Swimming Pool Opens in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu
'Completion System' Introduced to Prevent Unlimited Automatic Extensions

The public swimming pool in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, ‘Cheonho Eoullim Swimming Pool,’ will open on the 10th of next month. Before the official opening, it will operate temporarily from the 24th to the 28th of this month.

Cheonho Eoullim Swimming Pool is an indoor swimming pool with 25 meters and 5 lanes (total floor area 2017㎡). It is located on the second basement floor of the Cheonho 2-dong Complex Office Building (80 Olympic-ro 80-gil, 60).

Starting from the 10th of next month, various programs such as adult swimming, aqua walking, and aqua aerobics will be offered. During the temporary operation period, free public swimming will be available in three sessions per day.

The district has fully introduced a ‘completion system’ for the Cheonho Eoullim Swimming Pool programs to prevent the automatic extension of the course period for existing members who have completed a certain period. This is to prevent exclusive use and ensure smooth inflow of new students.

The district is recruiting participants for the March Cheonho Eoullim Swimming Pool programs for Gangdong-gu residents until the 22nd of this month and will finalize the selection through a lottery. Those wishing to enroll in the programs can apply online through the Gangdong-gu Urban Management Corporation website. For program applications and detailed operations, inquiries can be made to the Gangdong-gu Urban Management Corporation.
