Suncheon City Recruiting Young Entrepreneurs with Creative Ideas

Changup Yeondang in Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 17th that it is recruiting 10 young entrepreneurs (individuals or teams) to participate in the '2025 Suncheon City Youth Startup Growth Support Project' until the 27th.

This project aims to discover young entrepreneurs with creative ideas and support them with business commercialization funds.

The program is designed to help prospective and early-stage young entrepreneurs establish their businesses stably through commercialization support, and to vitalize the local economy by fostering youth entrepreneurs based in the region.

The selected 10 entrepreneurs will each receive 10 million KRW in commercialization funds. These funds can be used for prototype or brand development, marketing and promotion, patent and intangible asset registration, and office rental expenses.

The recruitment field is for areas where creative ideas can be commercialized. Applicants must be either prospective entrepreneurs or early-stage startups registered within the past three years, with the representative being a youth residing in Suncheon City.

Youth entrepreneurs wishing to participate can check the recruitment announcement on the Suncheon City Hall website and apply by submitting the required documents in person or via email.

A city official said, "We will do our best to actively support creative and capable entrepreneurs so they can take a step further and to create a sustainable startup environment."

Meanwhile, Changup Yeondang operates various support policies for young entrepreneurs, including the 'Suncheon Youth Startup School' educational program for prospective founders, the 'Shared Office Membership' which provides office space for up to three years, and the 'Wednesday Startup Consultation' for youths considering starting a business.
