The police announced that they have arrested 74 people in connection with the ‘Seoul Western District Court Violence Incident’ and are investigating the masterminds behind it.

A National Police Agency official stated at a regular press briefing on the 17th, “So far, a total of 125 people have been investigated. Among them, 74 have been arrested, and 51 are under investigation without detention,” adding, “We are thoroughly examining the masterminds by analyzing conservative YouTube channels and community posts.”


Focused investigations are underway regarding the Constitutional Court assault conspiracy case. The National Police Agency official said, “As of the 13th, a total of 60 reports have been received, and the Seoul Cyber Investigation Unit is conducting intensive investigations,” and added, “No arrests have been made yet.”


A total of nine complaints have been filed related to Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church. The National Police Agency official responded, “We are currently reviewing the legal grounds, including charges of incitement to rebellion,” and said, “Investigations of the accused will also be conducted according to the investigation procedures.”
