GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 17th that it will exclusively launch 'Pasta-Shaped Chocolate' on the 20th.

Pasta-Shaped Chocolate is a product inspired by the pasta noodle type 'Tagliatelle.' It features a special process that combines chocolate and marshmallow to create chocolate noodles, effectively capturing the shape and chewy texture of tagliatelle.

It even replicates the pasta plating style. The chocolate noodles are stacked high on a dedicated container. Customers can enjoy the chocolate noodles by twirling them with the included fork.

Pasta-Shaped Chocolate can be enjoyed with toppings such as fruit, yogurt, and fresh cream, or used as a unique ingredient in actual pasta menu development. GS25 expects various SNS content featuring Pasta-Shaped Chocolate, including personalized recipes, to be created.

Starting with Pasta-Shaped Chocolate, GS25 plans to focus on developing differentiated products that encompass the latest consumer trends and buzzworthiness. The strategy actively reflects the recent hit formula where demand surges when a product gains popularity on SNS, promoting distinctive product planning.

We intend to nurture it as a representative dessert product of GS25 alongside Sweet Mix Jelly, which has been recording explosive sales as we expand the lineup.”
