Jo Ju-wan, President of LG Electronics, Selected as Korea's First 'LinkedIn Top Voice'

Jo Joo-wan, CEO of LG Electronics, was selected as the first 'Top Voice' in Korea just 10 days after opening his business-focused social media (SNS) LinkedIn account.

According to the business community on the 16th, Jo CEO's LinkedIn account received the 'Top Voice' certification badge on the 14th. This achievement came only 10 days after opening the LinkedIn account on the 4th.

According to LinkedIn, Jo CEO's account is the only one among Korean LinkedIn users to have received the Top Voice certification badge.

The Top Voice certification is identified by a blue badge displayed below the profile, and LinkedIn awards it twice a year based on a comprehensive evaluation of the account's expertise, industry influence, and credibility.

It is known that influential figures who provide insights based on expertise in various fields or share highly reliable information in the economic and industrial sectors receive this certification.

Overseas, notable Top Voices have included Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft (MS); Satya Nadella, MS CEO; Michael Dell, CEO of Dell Technologies; and Ola K?llenius, CEO of Mercedes-Benz.

Jo CEO's selection as a Top Voice just 10 days after opening his account is evaluated as being mainly due to his transparent communication by directly sharing business achievements and actively engaging with prominent figures in the global IT industry.

In fact, on the 7th, Satya Nadella visited Jo CEO's LinkedIn account and left a comment saying, "Looking forward to how our two companies will create the future of space together based on AI."

Jo CEO is scheduled to meet with Nadella CEO, who will visit Korea at the end of next month, to discuss ways to expand cooperation between the two companies.
