Rain Expected in Jeju Island in the Morning,
Spreading to Jeonnam and Gyeongnam in the Afternoon

On Saturday the 15th, temperatures will be relatively mild, exceeding the average (low -8 to 2°C, high 4 to 10°C).

The morning low temperature is forecast to be between -7 and 3°C, and the daytime high between 7 and 12°C.

Clouds will occasionally increase nationwide and gradually become overcast. Rain will begin in Jeju Island (rain or snow in the mountainous areas of Jeju) from the morning, spreading to the Jeonnam region in the afternoon and to the Gyeongnam region at night.

In the southern part of Jeonbuk, there may be a brief period at night with raindrops less than 0.1 mm.

The expected precipitation over two days from the 15th is 5 to 20 mm along the southern coast of Jeonnam, around 5 mm in Gwangju, Jeonnam (excluding the southern coast), Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, and 10 to 40 mm in Jeju Island.

In the mountainous areas of Jeju Island, 1 to 5 cm of snow is expected during the same period.

Dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is expected until morning along the central west coast and southern inland areas of Chungnam, while other areas including the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and Jeolla regions may experience fog with visibility less than 1 km.

Since fog may freeze on the ground, creating icy roads or black ice, caution is advised for traffic safety.

Fine dust levels are expected to be 'bad' in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Sejong, Chungbuk, Chungnam, Busan, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk, while other regions will range from 'good' to 'moderate.' However, Daejeon, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam are expected to have 'bad' levels in the morning.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea nearshore.

Wave heights in the offshore seas (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.0 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
