DL E&C: "We Will Achieve Serious Accident Zero by 2025"
DL E&C announced that it held the ‘2025 Serious Accident Zero Inauguration Ceremony’ at its headquarters in Donuimun D-Tower, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 14th to achieve its safety management goals. The event was attended by Gilpo Lee, Chief Safety Officer (CSO), executives and team leaders from the safety and health department, site managers, construction supervisors, and safety and health managers.

DL E&C has established detailed goals to achieve ‘2025 Serious Accident Zero,’ including ▲building an organization that works according to manuals and provides feedback ▲strictly prohibiting unplanned arbitrary work ▲strengthening safety activities for subcontractors and workers. To this end, it plans to establish focused safety management plans for each site and hold internal safety seminars to improve the safety management system on site.
Additionally, DL E&C plans to expand the application of its integrated smart safety control platform. This platform includes CCTV, body cams, safety pagers for real-time tracking of workers’ locations, and an AI translation system to support communication with foreign workers.
CSO Gilpo Lee emphasized at the inauguration ceremony, “‘Serious Accident Zero’ is the top priority goal that can only be achieved through the joint efforts of all employees, subcontractors, and workers,” adding, “Let us persistently implement the planned safety measures and surely achieve the 2025 goal.”
