Daejin Advanced Materials Philippine Corporation Benefits from Growth of Multinational Company 'Dyson'

Daejin Advanced Materials, which is pursuing a KOSDAQ listing, announced that it is benefiting from the expansion of the production facilities of multinational company Dyson in the Philippines.

Daejin Advanced Materials (CEO Yuseongjun), a leading company in fire and static electricity prevention within secondary battery processes, officially announced on the 14th that it has received a large-scale order from Dyson, a global manufacturer in the Philippines.

A company representative from Daejin Advanced Materials stated, “We have received an order for approximately 1.44 million parts including components for vacuum cleaners and hair styling devices in cooperation with Dyson,” adding, “Currently, the Philippine subsidiary is experiencing a surge in orders as it is recognized for its innovative production capabilities and quality competitiveness by global advanced manufacturers beyond Dyson.”

Daejin Advanced Materials’ Philippine subsidiary is located in FPIP (First Philippine Industrial Park), about a 20-minute drive from Dyson’s factory. It is also adjacent to Samsung Electro-Mechanics, raising expectations for Daejin Advanced Materials to expand its business into the global IT industry with unlimited potential and roles.

In fact, based on PEZA (Philippine Economic Zone Authority), Daejin Advanced Materials’ Philippine subsidiary has been receiving continuous inquiries from multinational manufacturers and currently counts global companies such as Dell, Motorola, and Dyson among its major clients.

In particular, it possesses injection molding, painting lines, and in-house mold manufacturing capabilities, earning recognition for excellent quality and productivity from electronics and automotive parts companies. Leveraging precise injection molding and advanced painting technology, it performs injection parts and post-processing for Motorola’s walkie-talkies, as well as laser cutting and painting work for cooling modules used in Dell and HP laptops. This year alone, it has secured orders for about 1.2 million units, expanding its presence in the global market.

Dyson, which signed this large-scale order, is headquartered in Singapore and invested 11 billion pesos (approximately 300 billion KRW) to build an advanced technology manufacturing center at its Santo Tomas plant in Batangas, Philippines, which began full operation in 2024. The plant focuses on AI and robotics research and development (R&D), hiring 400 engineers, making it the largest investment factory to date. It demonstrates the competitiveness of the Philippine manufacturing industry, and Daejin Advanced Materials, which has been present since the establishment, has been designated as the biggest beneficiary.

Yuseongjun, CEO of Daejin Advanced Materials, said, “Our company possesses three key elements: customized design capabilities, a vertically integrated mass production process, and global production bases. We will strengthen collaboration with multinational companies and expand our presence through expanding global footholds and product advancement.” He added, “Furthermore, through a successful KOSDAQ listing, we aim to expand North American production facilities and make a full-scale entry into the CNT conductive additive market, taking a step forward.”

Meanwhile, the total number of shares offered by Daejin Advanced Materials is 3 million, with a desired offering price band of 10,900 to 13,000 KRW per share, and the total expected offering amount is approximately 32.7 billion to 39 billion KRW. The demand forecast, which started on the 11th, is scheduled to conclude on the 17th, followed by subscription from the 20th to the 21st, with a planned listing on the KOSDAQ market on the 6th of next month. The lead underwriter is Mirae Asset Securities.
