On this day, Jeongwol Daeboreum events were held at 30 locations throughout Miryang City. In particular, traditional cultural events of Miryang, such as ‘Gamnae Gejul Danggi’ and ‘Beopheung Sangwon Nori,’ which are intangible cultural heritages of Gyeongsangnam-do, were held together, adding more significance.
Mayor An shared the meaning of Jeongwol Daeboreum by spending time with citizens who visited the event sites, hanging wish papers, and participating in the burning of the Daljip (moon house).
Mayor An said, “Jeongwol Daeboreum is a meaningful day to make wishes and share affection with family and neighbors, and I hope that the time we spent together today will bring good energy to all citizens.”

He continued, “Only when we are together with citizens in daily life can truly citizen-centered policies be realized,” adding, “I will continue to meet citizens directly and listen carefully to the voices of each and every citizen in places close to them.”
