ELEX Korea 2025 is a specialized exhibition in the power and energy sector, hosted by the Korea Electrical Industry Promotion Association and Korea Electric Power Corporation, and will be held at COEX, Seoul, from today until the 14th.
At this exhibition, Hyosung Heavy Industries will introduce AI and digital-based power technologies. Key exhibited products include the AI-based power facility asset management system 'ARMOUR+' that monitors power equipment, the AR-based vision inspection equipment utilizing augmented reality (AR) technology for digital power equipment inspection, the 200MW-class voltage-source high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system developed last year with Korea’s first proprietary technology, and the static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) that supports stable power supply in renewable energy generation and data centers.
In particular, ARMOUR+, scheduled for release in the first half of the year, is a platform with scalability that can be infinitely applied across various industries such as smart energy management, buildings, data centers, railways, and power generation. Hyosung Heavy Industries plans to operate an experience zone at the exhibition where visitors can directly experience ARMOUR+ and 3D modeling of key power equipment.
Woo Tae-hee, CEO of Hyosung Heavy Industries, stated, "Hyosung Heavy Industries is continuously expanding its business areas by actively integrating AI and digital technologies into power equipment solutions," adding, "We hope this exhibition will be a meaningful opportunity to share the future of the power industry with domestic and international customers."
