Mercedes-Benz Korea Launches High-Performance 2-Door Open Car 'AMG CLE 53 Cabriolet'

Mercedes-Benz Korea announced on the 12th that it will launch the high-performance 2-door open-top model, the 'Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet.'

This vehicle is a model that combines the driving performance of the high-performance brand Mercedes-AMG with the openness enjoyed through the open top.

The CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet is equipped with a 3.0ℓ inline 6-cylinder engine. It delivers a maximum output of 449 horsepower and a maximum torque of 57.1 kgf·m. This engine has obtained certification as a low-emission vehicle type 2, providing benefits such as reductions in congestion charges and public parking fees.

Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with AMG driving-related functions, and its exterior features a sporty design unique to the CLE Cabriolet combined with dynamic AMG design elements.

In particular, the soft top of the CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet has a multi-layer structure that provides excellent insulation, maintaining the interior temperature in optimal condition throughout all four seasons. It also reduces external wind and noise. The roof can be opened or closed electrically within 20 seconds even while driving at speeds up to 60 km/h, allowing for quieter operation.

The vehicle also features a 12.3-inch standalone full digital driver display and an 11.9-inch vertical LCD central display. Through the AMG-exclusive menu on the driver display, engine data, gear display, warming-up, setup, G-meter, and race timer can be accessed. The central display can be tilted from 15 to 40 degrees, reducing glare by minimizing light reflection even during open-top driving.

Furthermore, the latest 3rd generation MBUX infotainment system is applied, providing a convenient digital driving environment. It offers routine functions that support automated vehicle settings and provides various third-party applications such as YouTube, Zoom, Angry Birds, and TikTok through in-vehicle data. Especially considering Korean consumers, it supports various domestic music streaming services and OTT platforms such as Essential, Flo, Melon, and Wavve.

The domestic price of the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet is 110.3 million KRW (including VAT and reflecting the individual consumption tax reduction).
