Gyeonggi Province will provide technical consultation for repairing aging houses even in small-scale multi-family housing with fewer than 30 households.
On the 12th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will expand the support target of the "Visiting Small-Scale Aging House Repair Technical Consultation" project, which dispatches construction experts such as construction and equipment specialists to single-family houses requesting repairs to suggest construction methods suitable for the situation and provide consultation activities, to small-scale multi-family housing with fewer than 30 households starting this year.
Gyeonggi Province introduced this project in 2023 to support elderly people or non-experts who find it difficult to know appropriate construction methods or directly select construction companies, thereby reducing the burden on residents and improving the maintenance and repair level of houses.

This year, the project will be promoted targeting 40 locations recommended by cities and counties. On-site visits will be conducted directly by Gyeonggi Province technical consultation members composed of private experts such as architects, construction technology specialists, and equipment technology specialists. The technical consultation is provided free of charge.
Kim Tae-su, Director of the Urban Regeneration Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "House repair is not just simple maintenance but an important project that enhances residents' safety and quality of life," adding, "Gyeonggi Province will continue to prepare various support measures so that residents can more easily receive house repair benefits."
