Demand Surges Ahead of Announced Subscription Regulation Tightening
'Changgyeonggung Lotte Castle Signature,' supplied through the redevelopment of Samseon 5 District in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, is nearing a complete sellout.
According to Lotte Construction on the 12th, this complex attracted 6,098 applicants for 45 units in the 84㎡ type non-priority subscription on the 3rd. The competition rate was 135.51 to 1. Since then, contracts have proceeded rapidly, and the remaining units are currently available on a first-come, first-served basis.
A sales official said, "After the non-priority subscription, the contract rate rose sharply, and most contracts have been completed," adding, "Demand to sign contracts increased before the system change as the government announced plans to restrict non-priority subscriptions to those without homes."
The government announced the day before that it will block non-priority subscription applications from homeowners and strengthen regional residency requirements. This is expected to be applied as early as the first half of the year.
'Changgyeonggung Lotte Castle Signature' consists of 19 buildings ranging from 4 basement floors to 18 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,223 units. Move-in is scheduled for April 2027.
The location is excellent. It is within walking distance to Hansung University Station (Line 4) and Bomun Station (Line 6 and Ui-Sinseol Line). Changgyeonggung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine, Changdeokgung Palace, Seongbukcheon Fountain Plaza, and Samseon Park are also nearby.
The units are mainly south-facing, allowing plenty of sunlight. The slab-type structure (except for some units) allows good ventilation. Equipped with a dressing room, utility room, and powder room, space utilization is convenient.
Convenience facilities within the complex include a fitness club, indoor golf club, screen golf, study rooms, kids' room, book cafe, single-person reading rooms, and a guest house.
