The meeting was organized to provide administrative support without any setbacks for the completion and opening of the Jinhae Cultural Center and Library project, which is currently under active construction. Discussions included reviewing the project budget and forming a task force among related departments.
In particular, through the formation of a task force among related departments, a regular information-sharing and rapid decision-making system will be established, which is expected to improve issue identification and response speed.
The Jinhae Cultural Center and Library will be built in the Pungho-dong area of Jinhae-gu, with a total floor area of 12,669㎡, consisting of a performance hall and library spanning one basement floor and five above-ground floors. This project is considered a long-cherished wish of the residents of Jinhae-gu. The city plans to thoroughly carry out the project, including this inspection meeting, aiming for completion in May and opening preparations by the end of the year.
Vice Mayor Jo stated, “Large-scale projects like the Jinhae Cultural Center and Library require not only on-site work execution but also systematic administrative support linked to it,” adding, “By establishing a task force among related departments, we will ensure flawless execution of the Jinhae Cultural Center and Library project, which embodies the long-standing aspirations of Jinhae residents.”
