On the 11th, KB Securities stated that Hanmi Semiconductor's operating profit this year is expected to exceed 500 billion KRW and newly set a target stock price of 150,000 KRW.
It is estimated that Hanmi Semiconductor will achieve sales of 1.0435 trillion KRW and an operating profit of 501.1 billion KRW this year, representing increases of 78.3% and 90.7%, respectively, compared to last year.
Lee Eui-jin, a researcher at KB Securities, explained, "Sales of TC bonders for North American customers are expected to increase," adding, "Following last year, TC bonder equipment orders will continue this year as well."
He continued, "As the large-scale packaging substrate becomes fully established, mass production of big-die bonders that bond large packaging substrates is also anticipated."
He analyzed, "With the adoption of satellite communication functions in new smartphones, the need for EMI shield equipment is growing," and added, "Due to the limited space characteristics of small devices, substrates will also need to become thinner." Furthermore, he emphasized, "We expect an expansion of related customers," and noted, "In 2022, we launched the ‘Glass Micro Saw’ that cuts glass substrates." As global packaging companies are promoting the introduction of glass substrates, benefits from micro saw equipment are expected.
