A lecture exploring the potential of local youth entrepreneurship will be held in Daegu. The Kyungpook National University Community Contribution Center will host the ‘Start Local, Think Global: Youth Reboot Daegu’ lecture at 2 p.m. on the 13th at the Oo Theater in Jung-gu, Daegu.
This lecture is organized to share successful local startup cases and explore the growth potential of entrepreneurship to revitalize the regional startup ecosystem. It will include lectures, a talk concert, local startup networking time, and screenings of independent films from Daegu.
In particular, the lecture will feature speakers such as Seulgi Lee, CEO of Piece of Village, who planned ‘Local Rise Gunsan,’ a representative successful case of local entrepreneurship, and Hyuntae Noh, CEO of Loopsetter, who planned the Daegu complex cultural space ‘Muyeongdang Department,’ sharing their respective startup experiences.
The lecture is aimed at local university students interested in local entrepreneurship, prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs, and related startup organizations. Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for up to 50 people.
Jang Yuri, director of the Kyungpook National University Community Contribution Center, stated, “We hope this lecture will raise awareness of the potential of local entrepreneurship among young people in Daegu and other regions and provide practical insights for startups.”
