Anseong-si to Recruit Companies for Eastern Europe Market Development Team Until Next Month 5

Dispatched to Bulgaria and Hungary at the End of May

Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province, in collaboration with the Southern Regional Center of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, is recruiting local export small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in a business delegation to Eastern Europe for market development and buyer consultations until the 5th of next month.

The market development delegation support project assists with buyer consultations and local market research targeting overseas export countries. This market development delegation is scheduled to operate from May 26 to June 1, focusing on Bulgaria and Hungary. Through an agreement with the Southern Regional Center of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, the city plans to invest a total project cost of over 400 million KRW to support local export companies.

Previously, last year’s market development delegations to Canada and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) involved 16 local manufacturing SMEs, resulting in 161 consultations and a total consultation amount of 27,121,000 USD (approximately 39.4 billion KRW).

An official from Anseong City stated, "Through this support, we hope that local export SMEs facing difficulties in market development will establish a self-sustaining export foundation."
