Yeongju-si Promotes 'Agricultural Food Voucher Support Project' for Low-Income Pregnant Women and Children Poster for Agricultural Food Voucher Support Project for Low-Income Pregnant Women and Children in Yeongju City.

This project aims to support low-income pregnant women and children by ensuring a stable supply of fresh ingredients, focusing on domestic agricultural products to help achieve balanced nutrition.

The support period is from March to December, and the eligible recipients are households receiving livelihood benefits (with a standard median income of 32% or less), including pregnant women, infants, and children.

The support amount is 40,000 KRW per month for single-person households and 100,000 KRW per month for four-person households, with differential payments based on the number of household members. However, recipients in welfare facilities and users of the Nutrition Plus program are excluded from the household member count.

Items that can be purchased with the voucher include domestic fruits, vegetables, fresh milk, fresh eggs, meat, grains, tofu, and more. The list of stores where the vouchers can be used will be finalized and announced through the voucher website in February.

Applications can be made by visiting the Eup/Myeon/Dong administrative welfare centers, via ARS, or online (through the voucher website). However, if there is a foreigner among the household members, proxy applications by someone other than the head of the household, change applications, or verification of pregnancy status require visiting in person with supporting documents.

An official from Yeongju City stated, “The Agricultural Food Voucher card is automatically recharged on the first day of each month and must be used within that month. Unused amounts do not carry over, so we strongly recommend using the voucher within the designated period.”
