BPA to Launch 'Proposal Project Contest' for Overseas Business in 2025 2025 Overseas Business Proposal Contest Poster.

BPA newly introduced the 'Proposal Project Contest' system in November last year and held one contest, and this year plans to hold regular contests once every quarter.

Domestic private companies and institutions wishing to jointly promote overseas projects with BPA can participate in the contest within the scope of the proposed project. The proposed projects include new businesses in the field of overseas port logistics infrastructure such as terminals, logistics centers, warehouses, and ODCY (Off-Dock Container Yard).

Currently, BPA operates five logistics centers behind major overseas ports (Rotterdam Port in the Netherlands, Barcelona Port in Spain, Probolinggo Port in East Java, Indonesia, and LA/LB Ports in the United States) to stabilize the supply chain of our export companies and secure cost competitiveness. Based on this experience, BPA plans to create more competitive business opportunities through the overseas project contest.

The contest period is from the 13th to March 12th. BPA plans to decide whether to proceed with follow-up consultations after review by the Proposal Project Review Committee for the proposed projects. Detailed information about the contest can be found on the BPA website.

Sanggeun Song, President of BPA, said, “We will discover diverse business opportunities based on creative proposals from the private sector and further strengthen public-private cooperation in overseas markets.”
