Daesung Energy Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Moon-hee) held an awards ceremony and the 2025 'Zero Accident·Zero Injury 365 Challenge' resolution meeting on the 11th at its headquarters in Namsan-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu, celebrating the achievement of double the goal in the zero accident and zero injury campaign that started in 2023.
The zero accident and zero injury campaign has shifted from the previous company-led approach to a 'self-management and prevention activity' system, where field department managers and workers collaborate to independently record and manage the zero accident and zero injury process within their teams.
Daesung Energy employees are taking a commemorative photo celebrating the achievement of double the goal for zero accidents and zero incidents.
This year as well, the 'Zero Accident·Zero Injury 365 Challenge,' conducted mainly by about 270 people across 14 departments, aims to achieve triple the previous zero accident and zero injury campaign goals. To this end, urban gas safety management and industrial safety management activities are integrated and operated together, and through daily TBM (Tool Box Meeting) sessions, managers and workers will be encouraged to actively practice accident prevention activities on site.
CEO Park Moon-hee stated, "Achieving double the goal this time is not just a number, but it is significant in that the safety awareness of workers who actively participated in the accident prevention process has been greatly strengthened," adding, "We will continue to do our best to create a safe working environment."
Meanwhile, Daesung Energy prioritizes perfect safety management as its top management goal and is committed to supplying safe and clean city gas. Through safety culture campaigns and events involving citizens, the company leads ESG management by spreading social responsibility and a culture of safety practice.
