Gangjin County Recruiting Restaurants to Join Maryang Nolto Seafood Market

Two Spots for 'Seafood Specialty Cuisine and Street Snacks' to Be Selected

Gangjin County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kang Jinwon) is recruiting participating restaurants for the Maryang Nolto Fisheries Market until the 21st, in order to provide a variety of food options to visitors at the 9th Maryang Nolto Fisheries Market in 2025.


According to the county on the 11th, eligible applicants are those aged 19 or older who wish to operate a restaurant in the food service industry. There are a total of two available spots: one seafood specialty restaurant (60.8㎥) and one street food vendor (12㎥). The seafood specialty restaurant will serve as the main food stall utilizing seafood, while the street food vendor can offer various items such as desserts, finger foods, and sushi.

Preference will be given to Gangjin residents, local youth, those who submit a specialized seafood menu, and those with experience participating in food-related events or festivals.


Applicants wishing to participate should submit an application form, resident registration certificate, and other supporting documents to the Marine Development Team of the Marine and Fisheries Division at the county office by the 21st. Applications can be submitted in person or by email, but if submitting by email, applicants must confirm by phone.


Participants will be selected based on a review and evaluation of their applications. Evaluation criteria include the appropriateness of food prices, menu originality, recipe creativity, and experience participating in festivals.
