Hanwha Ocean announced on the 10th that it has secured an order for two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers from a shipowner in the Oceania region, totaling 732.2 billion KRW.
The Oceania shipowner is known to be Hanwha Shipping, a shipping company established by Hanwha Ocean.
Hanwha Ocean plans to deliver the vessels by September 2027.
In April of last year, Hanwha Ocean announced the establishment of a shipping company called Hanwha Shipping to serve as a platform for verifying eco-friendly and digital ship technologies.
