Cheongsong Market is a place where the traditional market (held on the 4th and 9th) takes place, and on market days, traffic congestion and inconvenience to residents using the market have continuously occurred due to illegal parking.

The installation of this rotary aims to resolve such traffic congestion, improve the efficiency of vehicle flow, and create a safe traffic environment. Through continuous unmanned enforcement against illegal parking, the goal is to secure smooth vehicle flow and the safety of residents.

In particular, intersections and crosswalks are strictly no-parking zones, and enforcement is carried out through unmanned enforcement cameras (CCTV) and resident reports via the Safe Newspaper app. If caught, fines will be imposed (40,000 KRW for passenger cars, 50,000 KRW for trucks and vans).

County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee stated, “This unmanned enforcement of illegal parking at the rotary is a measure to ensure smooth traffic flow within the intersection, and we will continue to make efforts to alleviate residents’ inconvenience and prevent safety accidents.”

At the rotary, vehicles must slow down before entering and travel in a counterclockwise direction. When entering the rotary, if there is another vehicle already circulating, you must yield before entering. Also, if a vehicle signals with a hand or turn signal while passing through the rotary, the driver of the following vehicle must not obstruct the progress of the signaling vehicle. Especially when exiting the rotary, you must turn on the right turn signal before leaving.
