Dentis Launches New Implant Factory... Signal for Global Expansion in 2025

Dentis, an implant-based dental and medical solutions company led by CEO Sim Gi-bong, announced on the 10th that it has obtained GMP approval for its newly completed implant factory last year and has begun full-scale operations.

The Dentis implant factory, completed in April last year, has undergone final preparations including GMP inspections and equipment relocation, and has been conducting final validation. After completion, the factory passed installation and operational qualification (IQ-OQ) and the last validation stage, performance qualification (PQ). Following verification of the quality safety and productivity of mass-produced products, full-scale mass production began earlier this year.

The Dentis implant factory is a smart clean factory producing ultrapure, ultra-precision clean implants through an advanced automated system covering processing, surface treatment, packaging, and logistics. It is located on a 14,761㎡ (4,465 pyeong) site with a building area of 5,525㎡ (1,671 pyeong) and a total floor area of 10,488㎡ (3,173 pyeong). Notably, the 'Cube-ASRS' (Cube Automated Storage and Retrieval System), introduced for the first time in Korea, reduces warehouse space to one-quarter while doubling work efficiency, maximizing productivity.

Through these manufacturing and logistics innovations, Dentis has established an annual implant production capacity of up to 10 million sets. Since January, it has been expanding the range of mass-produced products starting with some items, and plans to operate at full capacity by the first half of this year to meet global market demand.

Along with the operation of the new factory, Dentis is accelerating its global market expansion. In addition to existing subsidiaries in the United States, China, Spain, and Portugal, it established subsidiaries in Malaysia and India last year, and plans to expand its global network by setting up new subsidiaries in key markets such as Thailand and Vietnam this year. Furthermore, overseas certification processes including European CE certification, U.S. FDA approval, China NMPA, and Japan PMDA are expected to be completed sequentially. Dentis aims to make this year a milestone for raising brand awareness and expanding market share in the global market.

Especially as Dentis celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, it plans to announce a bold future vision alongside its global new growth strategy. By driving comprehensive growth across its three major business areas?dental implants, clear aligners, and surgical room solutions?Dentis is confident in pursuing an aggressive localization strategy targeting the global market, aiming for increased sales and improved profitability with an upward growth trajectory.

A Dentis representative stated, “The operation of Dentis’s new factory is not just the start of a new production line but a signal for Dentis’s advance in the global market and a turning point to establish itself as a global leader. This year will be a year of growth and innovation, and together with overseas subsidiaries and partners, Dentis will demonstrate its brand presence as a global implant powerhouse.”
