For Low-Income Households, Vulnerable Groups, and Social Welfare Facilities
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju will accept applications for the eco-friendly boiler support program aimed at reducing fine dust starting from the 10th.
Eco-friendly boilers emit only one-eighth the amount of nitrogen oxides compared to regular boilers. They are effective in reducing fine dust and have a 12% higher thermal efficiency, resulting in significant energy savings.
This year, the district will support 400 general households with a total budget of 240 million KRW. The subsidy is 600,000 KRW per boiler. The target beneficiaries are low-income households, vulnerable groups, and social welfare facilities.
The application period is from today until the budget is exhausted. Applications can be submitted in person at the Gwangsan-gu Climate and Environment Division, by registered mail, or online.
