‘On(Yon) Yongsan Moving Expense Support’ Project

The ‘On(Yon) Yongsan Moving Expense Support’ project, initiated to ensure housing stability and reduce economic burdens for basic livelihood security households, will continue this year.

Yongsan-gu, 'Moving Expense Support for Basic Livelihood Security Households'... Up to 400,000 Won per Household Provided by Yongsan-gu.

Yongsan-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Hee-young) announced on the 9th that it will continue the ‘On(Yon) Yongsan Moving Expense Support’ project, which was first launched last year. Through this project last year, Yongsan-gu supported a total of 117 households with 42 million KRW.

The support targets households receiving basic livelihood security benefits for living and medical expenses who move into Yongsan-gu, including those relocating within Yongsan-gu. However, facility recipients and medical benefit recipients under other laws, applicants whose landlords are parents or children of the applicant (including household members), those who have received similar support from other institutions, and those who have received residential relocation or moving expense support under the Land Compensation Act Enforcement Rules due to redevelopment projects are excluded from eligibility.

Households wishing to receive support must first pay the moving expenses, then visit the local community service center within 60 days after registering their move to apply. Required documents include the moving expense support application form, lease contract or usage confirmation, a copy of the bankbook, and receipts for moving expenses. Moving expenses can be supported up to 400,000 KRW per household and only once every two years.

A Yongsan-gu official stated, “We will do our best to help improve the housing quality and stabilize the lives of low-income residents through the moving expense support project again this year.”
