The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 8th at 4:30 PM that the nationwide heavy snow warning, except for some islands and mountainous areas, has been lifted, and the crisis alert level has been downgraded from 'Caution' to 'Interest'.
At the same time, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (CDSCH) lifted the level 1 emergency duty.
Due to this heavy snow, 73 passenger ships and 9 flights were canceled at one point. Twenty-nine roads were closed. However, no damages related to this heavy snow have been tentatively reported.
