The story of an Australian fit grandmother who, despite being 64 years old, has a beautiful appearance and a toned muscular body, receiving attention even from young men, is becoming a hot topic.

On the 4th (local time), the British media outlet The Sun reported the story of Leslie Maxwell (64), an Australian influencer, health trainer, and model with 146,000 followers. She gained popularity by posting videos of strength training wearing a bra top and leggings, as well as photos in a bikini, on her social media (SNS).

Maxwell said, "I have even received direct messages (DMs) from 18-year-old teenagers expressing interest," adding, "They tell me my body is amazing. It's really funny. Sometimes they say really naughty things, but I take everything as a compliment." However, Maxwell's daughter Vanessa (42) said, "I wish my mom would wear different clothes," and added, "It's good that she's healthy, but I feel uncomfortable when she posts photos in bikinis or underwear." On the other hand, Maxwell's granddaughter and Vanessa's daughter Tia (19) gave a completely different reaction in an interview with Truly, saying, "My grandmother is 64, but to me, she dresses like she's in her 30s," and "She is very close to me, so I always feel like she's about my age."

In response, Maxwell said, "I like the body I have built through exercise," and "I especially worked hard on my glute exercises." Thanks to her appearance and body that look much younger than her actual age, she is often mistaken for her granddaughter or sister. Maxwell also said, "I compete in fitness competitions, so I am used to wearing small bikinis on stage," and "I have no problem sharing such (revealing) photos. I am not ashamed of my body." She added, "I don't like wearing clothes designed for a specific age group," explaining, "If we do that, we will be discriminated against by age, and people will think they have to look a certain way based on their age." Maxwell also emphasized, "People of all ages can improve their body shape and health by investing just one hour a day," and "Weight training helps strengthen bones and increase muscle, making the body firm. This is my secret to anti-aging."
