Train Breakdown at Namyeong Station on Subway Line 1... Approximately 20-Minute Delay in Operation

A train broke down at Namyeong Station on Seoul Subway Line 1 around 5:10 PM on the 7th, causing inconvenience to commuters during the evening rush hour.

According to Seoul Metro and Korail, the train bound for Seodongtan at Namyeong Station experienced a power supply failure, resulting in a suspension of service.

The affected train was sent back to Guro Train Depot around 5:25 PM. Due to the malfunction, the operation of six trains on the down line was delayed by about 10 to 20 minutes.
