Applicants must be the tenant and head of the household who have signed a lease contract for a rental property priced at 200 million KRW or less.
The support provides up to 400,000 KRW per person once in a lifetime. Covered expenses include move-in cleaning, brokerage fees, and minor home repairs. The support funds will be provided in local currency.
Applications can be made through the Gyeonggi Job Foundation's Jobaba Apply app, and the program may end early if the budget is exhausted.
A Gwangju City official stated, “This policy is designed to actively support young people taking their first steps into society to experience independence,” adding, “We will do our best to help young people facing economic difficulties secure better housing conditions.”
