Baek Young-hyun Emphasizes Expansion of Support Policies
and Timely Assistance for Economic Recovery
Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 7th that it held the ‘2025 Small and Medium Business Support Policy Briefing’ at the Pocheon Business Center Convention Hall on the 6th.

This briefing was organized to inform small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners, who are struggling due to the stagnant livelihood economy and economic recession, about practical support measures. About 300 people attended, including local company representatives, chairpersons of the town and township business councils, and related agency officials.
Along with the Pocheon City Corporate Support Division and the Audit Officer, nine related organizations participated, including Gyeonggi Daejin Technopark, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Gyeonggi Technopark, Korea Federation of SMEs, Uijeongbu Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and Gyeonggi Northwest FTA Trade Promotion Center, providing guidance on key support policies for 2025 and conducting consultations.
In addition, a ‘2025 Comprehensive Guide to Small and Medium Business Support Policies’ was distributed, introducing various business management support policies such as loans and financial support, marketing and sales channel support, technology development and commercialization support, support for aging facilities and equipment, and disaster-affected business support, providing detailed information on each policy.
Meanwhile, for companies unable to attend the policy briefing, Pocheon City posted the briefing video and materials on the official Pocheon City Hall YouTube channel and the Pocheon City Corporate Information Portal website.
Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon City said, “The livelihood economy is in a more difficult situation than during the COVID-19 period,” adding, “Based on business-friendly policies, we will expand support measures to overcome business management difficulties and recover the economy, and do our best to ensure timely support.”
