Mikela Miller, Deputy Superintendent of the Washington State Department of Education, stated, "In Washington State, there is a curriculum where Korean is taught starting from kindergarten," and expressed expectations, saying, "If online exchanges through the Gyeonggi Online School are actively conducted, continuous cooperation will be possible even without face-to-face meetings."

In response, Superintendent Lim Tae-hee said, "Gyeonggi education values global citizenship education that encourages students to cooperate and build partnership relationships," and proposed, "Let us establish a ‘global partnership’ that not only focuses on language but also understands each other's culture and emotions, and fosters the capabilities of both students and teachers."

Furthermore, he added, "I was impressed by the Korean language education in schools within Bellevue City, Washington," and said, "In Gyeonggi Province, the Gyeonggi Korean Language School (Gyeonggi Korean Shared School), which focuses on studying Korean intensively and understanding Korean culture to help multicultural students smoothly enter public education in areas such as Dongducheon, is active. Sharing curricula and content overseas through the Gyeonggi Online School will help deepen understanding of Korea from multiple perspectives."
