Amidst the severe cold, heavy snow has fallen in the Seoul area, covering the Gyeongbokgung Palace area in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 7th. The Korea Meteorological Administration has forecasted that the cold wave will persist nationwide until the weekend.
