Cars.com Names Santa Fe 'Car of the Year'
Genesis Wins 'Best Luxury Car' for Third Consecutive Year
Four models from Hyundai Motor Group were selected as the best cars in a U.S. automotive evaluation.
Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 7th that its Hyundai Santa Fe and Palisade, Kia EV9, and Genesis GV70 electrified models received awards in the '2025 Best Cars Awards' conducted by the prominent U.S. automotive review website 'Cars.com.'
The Best Cars Awards evaluate the quality, innovation, and value of 2025 model year vehicles to determine winners in six categories: 'Car of the Year,' 'Best Family Car,' 'Best Electric Vehicle,' 'Best Luxury Car,' 'Best SUV,' and 'Best Pickup Truck.' Among these, Hyundai Motor Group was selected in four categories, achieving the highest number of awards among automotive groups.
The Hyundai Santa Fe was named 'Car of the Year,' proving its excellent product value with outstanding design and space utilization. Mike Hanley, senior editor at Cars.com, commented, "The Santa Fe impresses with its versatile space maximization through unique design, innovative and family-friendly convenience features. Its smooth and comfortable driving performance and reasonable price make it stand out among SUVs in its class."
The Palisade was selected as the 'Best Family Car,' and the Kia EV9 was named 'Best Electric Vehicle,' demonstrating excellent electrification product value.
The Genesis GV70 electrified model won the 'Best Luxury Car' category for the second consecutive year. Genesis has been named Best Luxury Car for three consecutive years, following the 2023 G90.
