Jung-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Kim Gil-seong) will conduct the "2025 Business Establishment Survey" from the 7th to March 4th. The survey targets business establishments with at least one employee that were operating as of the end of last year, totaling approximately 72,000 establishments. This is the fifth largest scale in Seoul.

Seoul Jung-gu Conducts Visit Survey of Over 70,000 Businesses in the District Jung-gu, Seoul, will conduct a survey on the status of approximately 72,000 businesses in the district until the 3rd of next month. Training session for business survey personnel. Provided by Jung-gu.

The district has selected 127 surveyors who will visit each business establishment in person during this period to interview representatives and collect data. Mail, fax, and internet surveys will also be conducted concurrently to encourage broader participation.

The survey items include nine categories: business name, representative, location, establishment date, business registration number, organizational form, type of business, number of employees, and annual sales. The survey results will be used as basic data for formulating Jung-gu's industrial policies and economic support measures.

This year, the survey will be conducted more meticulously and efficiently than before. Changes in single-person corporate businesses will be verified, and administrative data will fully replace surveys for businesses without employees. In particular, unmanned stores, which have recently surged, will also be included in the survey targets and are expected to be used for policy development related to safety accident prevention.

To minimize potential issues during the survey process, the district has introduced a "two-number service" that provides surveyors with separate work mobile phone numbers, and has strengthened safety training for surveyors. This aims to protect surveyors working in the field and improve communication convenience with survey respondents.

District Mayor Kim Gil-seong said, "This survey will play an important role in determining the policy direction of the national and local economy," and added, "We ask for the active cooperation of business establishments."
