Eunpyeong-gu Supports Unemployed Youth with Up to 100,000 KRW for Certification Exam Fees

Apply from the 1st to the 10th of Every Month
Support Provided as Eunpyeong Love Gift Certificates

Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) will provide up to 100,000 KRW to unemployed youth to help reduce the burden of job preparation costs and enhance their employment competitiveness by supporting certification exam fees.

Eunpyeong-gu Supports Unemployed Youth with Up to 100,000 KRW for Certification Exam Fees

The certification exam fee support program started in May last year, and the district accepts applications from the 1st to the 10th of every month to allow many young people to receive support. The first application period this year is until the 10th, and the exam fee support will be provided in the form of Eunpyeong Love Gift Certificates.


Eligible applicants must reside in Eunpyeong-gu as of the announcement date, be between 19 and 39 years old, and be unemployed or have no business registration as of the application date. Youth participating in public jobs or short-term workers can receive support by submitting proof documents.


Applications are accepted for exams actually taken in 2025, regardless of pass or fail. Exams eligible for fee support include 16 types of language tests, the Korean History Proficiency Test, 547 types of national technical qualifications, 204 types of national professional qualifications, and 96 types of nationally certified private qualifications.


Support is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and will end early if the budget is exhausted. Youth wishing to apply can submit an online application via the email listed on the poster during the application period or visit the Clean Middle-Aged and Youth Hope Division at Eunpyeong-gu Office. District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung said, “I hope this will be a practical help for young people to take a step forward toward employment,” and added, “We will continue to actively support the steps of youth toward their future.”
