Buk-gu, Gwangju announced on the 6th that it will hold traditional Jeongwol Daeboreum seasonal events from the 8th to the 15th.
This event will take place in five areas (Samgak-dong, Chunghyo-dong, Yongjeon-dong, Munheung-dong, Yongbong-dong), led by local residents, and will feature experiences such as pungmul and folk games, Dangsan-je, sharing of Daeboreum foods, and writing wishes.
The Jeongwol Daeboreum event in Wonsamgak Village will be held on the 8th at 3 p.m. at the Wonsamgak Village parking lot in Samgak-dong, and the Chunghyo Dangsan-je will take place on the 11th at 7 p.m. in the area of 485 Chunghyo-dong.
On the day of Jeongwol Daeboreum, the 12th, the Yongjeon Village Jeongwol Daeboreum Dangsan-je will be held near Yongjeonmaeul-gil at 10 a.m., and the 25th Munsan Dangsan Cultural Festival will be held at Neutinamu Park in Munheung-dong at 3 p.m. on the same day.
Anyone can participate in these events for free on site without prior reservation.
