Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 6th that the Hosim Memorial Library donated approximately 300 children's books to the Gwangju Nam-gu Family Center as part of its community sharing activities.
On the 5th, the Hosim Memorial Library delivered around 300 children's books, donated by students and faculty through the 2024 "Sharing Through Books" program, to the Gwangju Nam-gu Family Center. This donation was organized to inspire dreams and hope in local children through reading.
Every year, Gwangju University practices a culture of sharing by donating books to various organizations such as the Gwangju Talent Donation Center, local children's centers, and welfare centers to promote open communication with the community.
Park Sungwoo, Director of the Hosim Memorial Library, said, "We will continue to donate books to local institutions and, at the same time, collaborate with community organizations to provide various reading programs that help children develop sound character and values."
