In this implementation plan, the city decided to invest 16 billion KRW to promote 42 projects based on five major strategic areas: ▲jobs ▲housing ▲education and culture ▲welfare ▲participation and rights.

First, in the job sector, to revitalize the 'Youth Entrepreneur Financial Support Project,' the city expanded the financial institutions eligible for loans from only NongHyup Bank to include Shinhan, Kookmin, and Hana Banks, and extended the support target from startups within 5 years to those within 7 years. A new project called 'Pyeongtaek Youth Employment Success Support Project' will also be launched to provide education on interviews and self-introduction letters, areas where job seekers often face difficulties during job preparation.

In the housing sector, the city will implement projects such as the 'Youth Jeonse and Monthly Rent Deposit Support Project' and the 'Youth Single-Person Household Monthly Rent Support Project' to alleviate the housing cost burden for young people.

In the education and culture sector, the city will operate the 'Pyeongtaek City Scholarship Dormitory' to reduce the financial burden on students currently enrolled. A pilot program called the 'After-Work Concert' will be held to expand performance opportunities for local young artists and provide cultural enjoyment opportunities for youth.

In the welfare and participation and rights sectors, the city will support activities such as 'Mind Stay,' which aims to restore young people's self-esteem and autonomy, and the 'Pyeongtaek City Youth Network,' which reflects diverse voices of youth. Various programs will also be operated at the 'Pyeongtaek City Youth Support Center Youth Rest, Pyo,' a community activity space for young people.

A city official said, "We will strive to promote youth policies that communicate with young people to make Pyeongtaek a young city where youth want to settle."

Meanwhile, as of the end of last year, the youth population in Pyeongtaek City was 175,266, accounting for 30% of the total city population. The youth ratio relative to the population is the second highest in Gyeonggi Province, following Suwon City.
