Sam Altman of OpenAI, U.S. Vice President Vance, and Indian Prime Minister Modi to Attend
Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon will attend the 3rd "Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit" held in Paris, France.
According to the IT industry on the 6th, CEO Choi is scheduled to depart to attend the AI Action Summit, which will be held from the 10th to the 11th (local time) at the Grand Palais in Paris, France. A Naver official stated, "We have been invited to the event and are preparing to attend."

The AI Action Summit is a gathering where heads of state from major countries and companies representing AI come together to discuss ways to responsibly develop and utilize AI technology. About 1,000 people including heads of state, senior government officials, CEOs, academic representatives, and civil society stakeholders participate. The first summit was held in London, UK in November 2023, and last May it was held in Seoul.
This summit will be attended by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who serves as co-chair, at the level of head of state/government. U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance is also reported to attend. Among key industry figures, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, who recently visited Korea, Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, and Arthur Mensch, co-founder of the French AI startup Mistral AI, will participate.
From Korea, Minister Yoo Sang-im of the Ministry of Science and ICT will participate in this meeting. Among domestic IT companies, Samsung Electronics and LG AI Research, as well as Naver, are reported to have been invited.
At this summit, participants will discuss five major areas: ▲ Innovation and culture ▲ The future of jobs ▲ Building trust in AI ▲ Utilizing AI for public good ▲ Establishing global AI governance.
Naver has attended every summit since the third one. At the first summit in 2023, Ha Jung-woo, head of the AI Innovation Center, attended, and at last year’s summit held in Seoul, Lee Hae-jin, Naver’s founder and Global Investment Officer (GIO), was present.
