Zigzag Expands Same-Day Delivery to Chungcheong Area... "Will Broaden Delivery Zones Further"

Same-Day Delivery Transactions Up 60% in Q4 Last Year

Fashion platform Zigzag announced on the 6th that it will expand the service area of its fast delivery service, 'Jikjin Delivery,' for 'same-day delivery' to the Chungcheong region.

Jikjin Delivery is divided into 'standard delivery' (orders placed before midnight arrive the next day), 'same-day delivery' (orders placed before 1 PM arrive the same day), and 'early morning delivery' (orders placed before 10 PM arrive the next morning), operating nationwide. Currently, over 10,000 stores including shopping malls, brand fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and food are participating in Jikjin Delivery. Last year, the range of orderable items was expanded by launching a carrier service that allows delivery on the same day or early morning.

Among these, same-day delivery has been operating throughout Seoul, over 80% of the Gyeonggi region, and in Gyeyang-gu and Bupyeong-gu in Incheon. With this expansion of the delivery service, same-day delivery will now be available in the Chungcheong area, including 17 neighborhoods in Dongnam-gu and 8 neighborhoods plus 3 towns in Seobuk-gu of Cheonan, as well as 10 neighborhoods, 1 town, and 2 townships in Asan. Early morning delivery is currently operated in the Seoul area.

Zigzag plans to continuously manage indicators such as ‘delivery departure rate’ and ‘delivery guarantee rate’ in addition to expanding the same-day delivery area. The ‘delivery departure rate,’ which refers to the percentage of products leaving the logistics center on time, currently records rates in the 99% range for both same-day and early morning deliveries. The ‘delivery guarantee rate,’ which indicates the actual completion of delivery to customers’ homes, is also maintained at 97-98%.

Thanks to fast delivery, transaction volume is also growing rapidly. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the total transaction amount for Jikjin Delivery increased by 60% compared to the same period last year, with same-day delivery transactions increasing by about 60% and early morning delivery by 68%.
